Reel Shimano Medium Baitrunner CI4+ XTB LC

Innovated Medium Baitrunner finds application in large areas. The reel can retract an incredible length of the line. With Aero Wrap system can achieve extremely long casts. It is fitted with six ball bearing A-RB and one roller bearing for instant backstop in each position. Compared to the older model has a new design gearbox Hagane, which reduces friction and increases the efficiency of power transfer from the long aluminum handle to the rotor. The reel is equipped with a new cold forged AR-C spool and slow lines laying Aerowrap II, which ensures perfect line lay on the spool. The biggest advantage is its weight due to the material CI4 +.

Hagane Body - Metal body with extreme rigidity :

The Hagane Body is a metal reel body with high rigidity. The body stiffness and impact resistance virtually eliminates body flexing. The result transforms the angler’s actions directly into cranking power. It’s efficiency through strength.

X - Ship :

By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with our S-ARB bearings and integrating a bigger drive gear Shimano increased the gearing efficiency and power. This results in a fishing reel with ulta-light handle rotation; less effort & power giving a perfect rotation even under heavy loads.

AR-C Spool :

A spool design with a V-shape spool lip ensuring that the line comes off the reel in smaller loops for further and more accurate casting. The AR-C spool will minimise the risk of backlash.

Aero Wrap II :

By improving the internal friction efficiency Shimano succeeded in bringing it?s line lay systems close to perfection. Close parallel coils in combination with 2 speed oscillation ensure smoother and further casting.

CI4+ :

Evolution of the original CI4 material providing   50% more rigidity, enabling to built reels with less tolerances and making fine mechanical innerparts perform like a Swiss watch.
